This is a short version of the Creative Camp Days of the 4-H Club of Salisbury sponsored by the Elks Lodge of Salisbury. Marie Cavallaro, Associate Professor of Art, Emerita, and me, artist, Christina Jarmolinski had the concept of letting the kids chose a motive they liked, transforming this into an acrylic painting and a clay plaque. We enjoyed the day tremendously- the kids were very eager and had lots of fun. One boy even said, while painting"this is the best day of my life." This made it all so worthwhile. Counselors were great and helpful. All-in-all we had great fun helping the little artists find their way to art.
