As an artist myself, reading about Frida Kahlo and enjoying her art I was introduced to the tradition of Dia de Muertos. It fascinates me to the extent the Mexicans celebrate this holy day as no other. In their art in many art forms and their culture. I love the spirit of this occasion.
I combined this hand painted pendant with Pyrites and Tibetan beads. The closure is an ornate Tibetan silver Lobster claw.
