I am very excited about the Tibetan Monks coming to Salisbury to make their Mandala Art. I have missed this 2x already in other locations in the world, and now I can see them actually lay down the Mandalas.
Since 20 years I have been studying what Buddhism means to me, as a Christian, expressing my compassion for the Buddhists, through painting and collageing my interpretation as a person of the western hemisphere. Through my travels to India, I had many opportunities to communicate with Tibetan refugees in India.
It was through these simple meetings I found my interest of Buddhism. The Tibetans I met were dealing correctly in semi-precious stones. They were always peaceful and honest. At that time I also was studying gemology in Poona, India.
They would support each other in little groups I found while walking through the Himalayan Mountains.
Their flags were hung from rock or cave to another, moving to the soft breezes.
