Mother and Son of the Past by Christina Jarmolinski
This precious painting depicts a mother with her son, which I painted after a b/w photo. It has historic value, being photographed in the Art Deco time. Notice the red background setting with the enormous black hat and the intricate sleeve of her clothing. This was a challenge and I loved it.

Dieses kostbare Gemaelde stellt eine Mutter mit ihrem Sohn dar, das ich nach einem S/W-Foto gemalt habe. Es hat historischen Wert, da es in der Zeit des Art déco fotografiert wurde. Man beachte den roten Hintergrund mit dem riesigen schwarzen Hut und den präzise gemalte Ärmeln ihrer Kleidung. Das war eine Herausforderung, die mir viel Spaß gemacht hat.
