One day last month as we were strolling through the quaint Victorian Town of Snow Hill, in Maryland on the Eastern Shore, Rob, my son and I stumbled across this very unique and inviting store- The Corner Shoppe. The shoppe was crowded with many interested people and shoppers. It is an eclectic "Shoppe'" filled with curiosities of the world, unusual spices, candles, soaps, jewelry and olive oils from Italy. The owners are as delightful as their store. Sophika and Rick. They are packed full with humor and the intellect to look for the "unusual" to offer Snow Hill and the many tourists from DC, Philadelphia - the other Maryland- not the Eastern Shore, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, to mention a few.
We connected immediately - Sophika and Rick have an infinity for Nature and it's attributes. Thus, the natural spices, teas, oils marmalades, soaps, - and jewelry...........But only the unusual. On Art Walk Night in March (first Friday of the month) they invited me to show a few pieces out of my collection of semi-precious stone - Art Jewelry.- "Priceless Treasures" and my " Little Secrets." I'm certain my blog viewers know already besides my 2 D Art, I have ventured since 20 years in my Art Jewelry after studying Gemology in Poona, India.
The first pieces were sold on Sunday immediately after the Art Walk. A good omen.....my Art Jewelry finds the right places to be admired and purchased by lovers of my Art Jewelry. We were all happy and satisfied with this good start of our connection.
