It has been a long time, since I last wrote in my blog. Sorry friends.......... thanks for all your comments as to my absence. The Virus seemed to hit the States, including Maryland and I got a big attack. It has been over 5 weeks now and 2 packs of antibiotics, but I am resurfacing now as you will see next. I did organize a new group on Facebook though, Art in Delmarva. Check it out.
First, my son flew from Munich to celebrate my birthday with me. That was fantastic. We dinned, and went shopping in the area, Rehoboth, Delaware, Snow Hill, Salisbury and Easton. Delmarva, the peninsula has a lot to offer. We had lots of quality time for each other. The week went by in a flash, as mostly all good times do.
On last Friday I won a grandfather's clock in an antique shop in Snow Hill -Antiques by the River, visited the art walk and galleries, among them was Bishop Stock Art Gallery and The Corner Shoppe, with it's many olive oil specialties, wonderful handcrafted soaps, looking like gems, and jewelry made by local and international artists. We then visited The Blue Dog, a very unique restaurant, owned by 2 men singing, also performing on Broadway, and waiting on the tables at the same time. They even sang a birthday song to me. It's a place to go to for great dinners and entertainment.
I have included some of the things I found interesting and just having fun with my new camera. ( remember- that's my hobby)
