Buddhas and Beads is my favorite store in Ocean City and on the Penninsula of Delmarva, where I now live and have my studio.
I found this great little store, while searching for a new home here on the Eastern Shore.
The last image is the Buddha I purchased before I had a house and roof over my head in Maryland! I was so attracted to the clay version of Buddha with the children sitting on him and the portrayal of beads hanging on his nice big tummy.
He makes me happy and gives good vibes in my studio space.
Buddhas and Beads is very unique as is the owner, named Spirit. She is remarkably knowledgeable and has traveled with her husband through out Asia to find these wonderful Buddhas.................So I asked Spirit if she would mind me photographing her treasures. My next series of my paintings will be of Buddha
Her co-worker, assistant is also very prolific searching for that "extra unique bead or statue you are looking for. He is lots of fun.
