The COVID 19 Virus- A Pandemic Sweeps OUR World

Thoughts of an artist.

"Here we  are.

It doesn't matter where you live. We are all in the same boat. The boat? Noah's Arc? How large is it? Can it carry us all? It may capsize. I remember the Bible says two of each Kind. Interesting. Shall I even go there?

It doesn't matter where you live, in which country, age, color, culture, language, religion, atheist. We are surrounded by an all-encompassing, life-threatening virus.

Do I want to paint this beast? No. I want to give a positive note in my works. My small contribution to society. Does anyone care? I don't know?

Perhaps we are finding sudden peace with the world and focusing on the essentials of life. Meditating. Praying. Collecting our thoughts. How many of us will still be here after this monster has hit our beautiful planet? Remember the boat? Is our boat rocking?

Love to our children, grandchildren, parents and friends. Dear Lord, what is your message? Love one another. Care for each other, even at a distance of 2 meters as to not spread this horrific germ?

Where do I find the expressions painting of that which I see and hear at the moment? My paints are starring at me, begging me to push forward. My white canvases giving me no direction. Where do I start? Who will possibly benefit from my thoughts? Does it matter?

How should my palette look? Black and white, maybe gray? or yellows and reds sending positive vibrations."

Oh wait! The sun is shinning! Is that the answer? Yes, the sun. Yellow.
